Pedicures Pay!

So here is evidence that is pays to go get pedicures (at least that’s what I keep telling Mike)! I met Audrey while we were sitting in the spa pedicure chairs at the local nail salon. We chatted a little bit and then about 4 months went by and I got a call from her saying she just got engaged! We did Audrey & Pete’s engagement photos at Rumours Wine & Art Bar on 12th S in Nashville. It worked out perfectly! It was a Monday night so we had the back room to our selves for almost an hour so we just hung out, and drank wine, and captured these glimpses of this very fun couple!

Batson Guitars

Today we want to share something a little different. This is a product shoot of custom guitars that we did for a very good friend in Nashville. Grant Batson and his brother Cory make these unbelievably beautiful guitars by hand and sell them all over the world! The amount of time and attention to detail given to each guitar is really remarkable. Check out their website at BatsonGuitars.com

Kacie & Todd’s Wedding

This wedding was on a beautiful May afternoon at Rock Castle. It was such a pretty day in fact, everyone was trying to take credit for the good weather. Todd & Kacie had a beautiful outdoor ceremony by the lake where they exchanges vows and headed back down the aisle to Shake Your Groove Thing! The reception was such a fun party. Todd & Kacie took dance lessons and it was so cute to watch Kacie counting out the dance steps to Todd as they got started. We were so glad to be there to capture this day!

this picture is a combination of two of my favorite things. 1) grandmothers that stay on the dance floor all night and 2) whoever is wearing their sunglasses at night dances in the middle!

Sarah & Aaron’s Wedding

This was one of our favorite weddings to shoot. Sarah & Aaron are so fun and the day was absolutely gorgeous. Despite getting rained out of their outdoor patio ceremony, they pulled the Union Station lobby together in no time and it looked amazing. This couple was so sweet and gracious to us. It always amazes us when a couple takes time during the wedding day to make sure that we are okay and have had something to eat or have enough water or whatever. We definitely consider them friends of ours now and can’t wait to go play some Mario Cart on their Wii.

sarah & aaron saw each other by themselves before the wedding and it was so fun to hide in the corner and capture aaron’s sweet facial expression!

Betsy and Matt’s engagements

So we thought we’d start the blog off by highlighting some our recent work. This is Matt & Betsy and they are so cute and fun. We had a blast shooting with them at The Factory in Franklin. This session was in February in Nashville so we were all a little cold!
