young love . . .

nathan and barbara are the young and in love and so cute!  they come from two fantastic families and we are excited that we will also get to photograph barbara’s brother austin’s wedding later this fall.  their family is such a joy to be around!  nathan and barbara were married this weekend at Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church and held their reception across I-10 at the Forest Club.

they had a little surprise visitor in the back seet of their get away car (one of barbara’s brothers).

A very patriotic wedding . . .

Allison and Jaime were married this 4th of July and it was such a fun day!  Allison was a bridesmaid in a wedding that we shot last year and it was so fun to see their group of friends all together again.    Jaime serves in the United States Army.  We appreciate what you do for our country Jaime and will keep you in our prayers as you deploy this year!

Mike and I love to shoot destination weddings and this one was a doosy!  It was in PARIS!!  Paris, Tennessee that is.  As wedding photographers, we never know where the job will lead us but this destination ended up being really fun.  They even have a miniature Eiffel Tower in the middle of town but unfortunately our shoot there was rained out.

Stephanie & Ronnie eShoot

I think these two laughed through their entire engagement photography session! We met Stephanie and Ronnie at the Rice University campus, and shot in several different locations around the campus. It was blazing hot that day, just like every day in Houston, but we have found that starting our shoots around 7PM helps beat the heat a little and then we get awesome sunset light! Stephanie and Ronnie will be getting marries at Second Baptist Church this winter, and we are so excited to be their wedding photographers.
