Houston Wedding Showcase

We had a GREAT day at the Houston Wedding Showcase today. Houston is such a big city and there are SO many different kinds of people. We loved meeting all the upcoming brides and hearing about their weddings. We also enjoyed meeting some of the other vendors and making some great contacts. Thanks to all of you that stopped by the booth to learn about our company and pick up our information. We hope you were able to get a good sense of who we are and what we have to offer. Don’t forget that you will receive $200 off your total package price by booking an appointment to meet with us in September. We love photography, we love weddings, and we would LOVE to be your wedding photographers!

Tiffany and Montague eshoot

We had a blast with Tiffany and Montague downtown at Discovery Green. It is so fun to be a photographer when we just get to meet up with some really cool people, hang out and goof around for a little while we take their pictures, and then end up with engagement photos for them that show off their personalities and their love for one another. We love our job!! We almost had to cancel the shoot because it looked like it was about to rain, and then, when we got down there, we discovered that the international jazz festival was happening at Discovery Green, and there were people everywhere. We pressed on though and we had an awesome engagement photography shoot.

lindsay & daniel

sometimes it is hard not to have favorites but if we did, lindsay & daniel would be up there. they were so fun to be around and when the bride and groom are relaxed and enjoying their day, it lets us relax and enjoy our job! i love that lindsay wore white privos and aimed for comfort all day. (just as a side note to those of you still looking for your dress: i have never photographed a bride and big heavy dress that was glad she was wearing a big heavy dress!!)

lindsay & daniel’s wedding was at st. john the divine which is an absolutely gorgeous church! and the reception was at the courtyard on st. james place which typically has so many good photo ops outside but that is simply not an option in the august heat!

deep roots . . .

this is an engagement shoot that i just realized that i forgot to blog somehow! i can’t believe i did that because it was such a fun one! stacey and jeff were so into the photography for this shoot and that makes our job really fun. stacey’s grandparents have been married for 60+ years and she and jeff are very close to them so stacey had the great idea to go do their eshoot on her grandparents land out side of college station. it was a crazy day because there was a big storm rolling in and we were trying to shoot as much as we could before the bottom dropped out. i am so glad we went ahead and shot though because check out the awesome sky that we captured!
