Ginger & Les . . .

Ginger and Les were married this weekend in Nashville and it has to be one of the most entertaining weddings we have ever shot! Ginger and I used to work together before I went full time with photography and she and Les have remained great friends of ours. It is always fun to work with friends! Their ceremony was at Brentwood United Methodist Church which is an absolutely gorgeous church! Then the wedding party rode on the Good Time Trolly over to LP field where the Titans play. LP Field was such a fun venue for a wedding reception and you would have never guessed it. It had a beautiful view of downtown Nashville and it was the perfect set up for a great party. Congratulations Ging & Les, we are so happy for you guys!!!

Heather & Jeremy

We met Heather and Jeremy downtown at Discovery Green for their engagement photography shoot, and I think they laughed through almost the whole shoot. These two were so into each other that they hardly seemed to notice us, which is cool because we’d rather take pictures of them having fun together than be too posey-posey anyway. Heather and Jeremy are our first (of many) couples from the Houston Wedding Showcase. We’re certain that we’ll have as much fun doing their wedding photography as we did their engagements.

just like in the movies . . .

we had such a fun shoot with lauren and austin! the day before the shoot lauren called and said “um, would it be okay if we brought a tandem bike to the shoot tomorrow?” of course! then they showed up with balloons and flowers and a bike and adorable outfits! these two were so much fun and just a pleasure to be around. i think lauren has such an audrey hepburn-ness about her, don’t you?

a colorful heritage . . .

courtney and mike are getting married this fall and mike’s family is from cambodia so they are having a western ceremony on saturday but the rehearsal dinner on friday night will be a cambodian party complete with cambodian clothing and a cambodian feast prepared by mike’s family. this engagement photo session was so fun and different. we shot everything at mercer botanical gardens in spring, texas and courtney and mike were such good sports because those outfits were not easy to pull off!
